How to Make Nutter Butter Reindeer:
These cuties come together in minutes — perfect for anyone who loves a snack craft moment. Here’s how!
🥄 Kitchen Tools You’ll Need:
Gear up with a few simple supplies to make things smooth and mess-free.
- Microwave-safe bowl
- Parchment paper
- Toothpicks or tweezers for details
- Cooling rack or tray

Ingredients You’ll Need
Gather your goodies before you start, so decorating is extra fun.
- Nutter Butter cookies
- Chocolate chips or chocolate candy melts (milk or dark)
- Pretzels (for antlers) – I used regular-sized twists, but other types will work, too
- Candy eyes
- Red M&M’s or Sixlets (for noses)

Step-by-Step Instructions
These come together fast, so you’ll be assembling your reindeer herd in no time!
Step 1: Set Up
- Melt the chocolate in 30-second bursts until smooth.
- Carefully break a pretzel in half to form antlers. One way to make this easier is to ‘scre’ the middle of the pretzel where you want it to break. Don’t stress over getting the antlers perfect.
- Place a Nutter Butter cookie on a piece of parchment paper.

Step 2: Add Antlers
- Begin by dipping the bottom part of each pretzel half into the chocolate, then place it near the top of the cookie. Repeat with the second pretzel, placing it next to the first one.

Step 3: Add the Candy Eyes
- Use a toothpick (or carefully dip) the back side of each candy eye into the melted chocolate, then place them about halfway down the Nutter Butter cookie.

Step 4: Add Rudolph’s Nose
- Lastly, add a bit of chocolate to the back side of a red Mini M&M, and place it near the bottom of the cookie for that famous shiny nose!
And that is it! Quick and easy Christmas treat that is almost too cute to eat. Almost!
✨ Pro Tip:
When adding the antlers, I used another Nutter Butter cookie to prop them up until the chocolate set. It helped keep everything in place and saved me from a few “antler dropping” moments. 🦌😉

Recipe Tips
- Use a toothpick to nudge your candy eyes or nose into place before the chocolate hardens.
- If pretzels break, just use the halves — it gives your reindeer “personality.”
