Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Can I use a different type of snack cake instead of Ding Dongs?

Absolutely! Any round, chocolate-covered snack cake will work perfectly for these spiders. Think Hostess CupCakes, Little Bites Fudge Brownies, or even some spooktacular homemade mini chocolate cakes!

My kids don’t like licorice. What can I use for the legs instead?

No problem! You can use pretzel sticks, thin candy ropes, or even pipe some chocolate lines for the legs. Just get creative!

How far in advance can I make these Chocolate Ding Dong Spiders?

These little critters are best made the day of, but you can prep them a day ahead and store them in an airtight container at room temperature.
